Frederick Jodry is one of New England's most versatile musicians. He performs frequently as a keyboard recitalist, conductor, or singer. Jodry holds degrees in organ and harpsichord from New England Conservatory, where his principal teachers were Yuko Hayaski and William Porter. A frequent recitalist, Jodry has performed for the Organ Historical Society, at Church of the Madeleine and the American Cathedral (Paris), St Mark's Cathedral (Seattle), Palace of the Legion of Honor (San Francisco), St. Thomas Church and Trinity Wall Street (NYC), and Trinity Church (Boston). Jodry is the founder of the Schola Cantorum of Boston, a 12-voice ensemble dedicated to Renaissance sacred music. For the past 40 years, the group has concertized throughout New England, and has been acclaimed for their lively and engaging concerts. He taught at Brown University from 1991 until 2025, and has conducted and toured internationally with the Brown Chorus on five continents. Jodry served as Music Director at the First Unitarian Church of Providence from 2000-2021, and serves currently as Co-Director of Music at historic Trinity Church, Newport.
