Stephen Banzaert, Trumpet
Steve Banzaert, trumpet, is an active trumpet player throughout New England. As a founding member of the international-prize-winning Triton Brass Quintet, Steve has served as Artist in Residence at the Boston Conservatory, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and at chamber music residencies and recital series across the country. As a soloist, Steve has performed with the Concord Chorale, Rome Symphony, and Georgia Philharmonic, performed Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Trumpets in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum's New Year's Concert and, inexplicably, has repeatedly performed Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 at 9am. In his copious spare time Steve teaches mechatronics at MIT, where he runs an electrical engineering teaching lab for the department of mechanical engineering.
